Rainforest Challenge 2006: Kedah

Once again, it's the annual gathering of 4x4 enthusiasts from around the world. Participants from 26 nations were represented this time around. Some 90 4x4 vehicles of all shapes and sizes comprising of competitor teams, press, touring adventurers, observers and officials took off from Menara Alor Star on 25th November for the 10th edition of the Rainforest Challenge (RFC). The State Chairman for Youth & Sports, Mr Othman Aziz did the flag-off honours.

Rainforest Challenge 2006: Sneak Preview

This year's edition of the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) will take place in the state of Kedah, from 25th November 2006 to 4th December 2006. For the participants from well over 25 countries taking part, this year's route promises to be another thriller. As a bonus, some trails have been closed for many years due to a previous security threat. But now, with the return of peace and tranquility, the area is once again open to the public and tourism.
