Jeep Adventure 2006: 24 - 26 Oct 2006   PDF  Print  E-mail
Written by PR

Jeep Adventure is an annual event organized by Chrysler Jeep Dodge Division to showcase the very best that our Jeep have to offer. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity of roughing out the Jeeps in extreme terrains.

It is a three days, two nights, four-wheel-drive adventure that's probably unlike anything you've ever experienced. Jeep Adventure caters to every level of expertise so they're fun for everyone - from novice to veteran and everyone in between.

Every year, Jeep scour the region for unbelievably harsh terrains and set our Jeep loose on them. For Jeep Adventure 2006, with the first wave kicking off in late October, we head off to Kanchanaburi, Thailand - Home to the River Kwai and infamous 'death railway' constructed during WWII. For anyone interested in 20th century history, a visit to Kanchanaburi on the infamous Burma-Siam 'death railway', is a must.

At Jeep Adventure, we promise fun and excitement and participants are put through an unforgettable off-road driving experience under the cautious guidance of a professional off-road consultant from the US. You will navigate through scenic switchbacks and some of the most challenging off-road situations you never thought Jeep were capable of.

Off-roading gets dirty, real dirty, but that doesn't mean we have to clean up after ourselves. To ensure that the participants concentrate on the most important part of this trip - fun - we have engaged a local team to take care of the not-so-fun bits on the trip.

Let's all think about the primary forests of Thailand, or any other tropical country in the region, and you immediately think of the mosquitoes, rain and a pretty uncomfortable camping trip. Think again! On our Jeep Adventure, we source for the best resorts so that our participants can retreat to a nice, clean, air conditioned and comfortable room after a hard day of off-road driving.

Food is just as important on such trips and by now, you'd have probably guessed that we provide our guests with nothing less than the best local and international cuisine. In Kanchanaburi, we're going to be dining at the Offroad Restaurant - a little establishment in the middle of "Jeep Country" aka pristine and mostly untouched primary rainforests. Songs and dances, especially of the local context, come standard as entertainment while we explore our host nations and discuss the once-in-a-lifetime driving experience.

This once in a lifetime experience costs only $800 per person or $500 if you are a Jeep owner, inclusive of air ticket, resort stay and food. Tickets are very limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. Thus, to avoid disappointment, please book early.

For more information, contact Richard @ Chrysler Jeep Automotive of Singapore @ 9819 0309. Jeep would love to tell you and show you exactly what we mean by fun - Jeep style - and extend the warmest invitations to live life to the "Jeepest".
